Picnic Tournament

And a picnic was had by all. Thirty players and a load of food showed up at Bryant Park. For not just a few this was their first petanque tournament.
The sun was out. the spirit up, and the balls flying. In this carousel format, each player was randomly matched with another for the qualifying rounds. At the end we took in 12 of the best scoring players to make 4 triples teams.
The 3rd place teams consisted of Lorissa, Bruce, Saul, Gilles, Aina, and Arnaud. All played great, especially Bruce!
The final put Team Franck-Hubert-Rob against Lucien-Ernesto-Thiam. Hubert hit 2 10 meter carreaux to save the game at 12-2. But it was a little to late as Lucien dominated the poiting. Final score, 13-4.
