MIA KANAZAWA AND CYNTHIA STROUD of Maine Boules Club, with Marieke Rolland (Boca), followed up their 1st and 2nd place finishes in this year’s National Women’s Singles with a big victory in the Women’s World Championship Qualification Tournament. Only four teams—the best US women teams—competed in the tournament hosted by Boca Petanque 2000 in Delray Beach, Fl. Mia, Cynthia, and Marieke will represent the US in the next Women’s Championship now scheduled later this year in Thailand. Click here for more photos of the event provided by Juan.
