STEVE AND LORISSA won all their games in route to a dominating performance in the Summer Melee Doubles tournament at Bryant Park. Thirty players competed in a hot and humid day. The ground was wet from an early morning thunder shower and gradually dried through out the day. But the threat of a huge thunder storm hovered over. The team draw saw some interesting combination: Leyla and Pierre Perrier, Alexis and Stephen Kaufman, and of course the finalists, Joe Betro and Paula.

But in the end Steve Ginsberg and Lorissa Rinehart were too strong for Joe and Paula, who did not lose a game till the final. The final score: 13-5.
