Skill Competition Results
Our first shooting and pointing competitions took place on a nice day, the Sunday after a horribly raining day that ruined the Singles tournament. Twelve players came to take up the challenge. And it was fun—and full of surprises.
First up was the pointing competition, testing each players ability to point regularly, turn the boule, do the the high lob, and pushing. Aina won first place with some nice push. Thiam was second and Steve was third.
Next we had an “open” shooting format from Denmark. Steve took first, Ernesto second, and Lucien third.
In the more “difficult” world championship shooting format, Ernesto took first (on a tie breaker), Yngve took second, and Chris Artis took 3rd.
