Joseph Hassoune and Charles Kossi (LBNY) beat Jean-Pierre Subrenat and Philippe Menier (NYPC) in the final of the Summer Doubles tournament, 13-10. Seventeen doubles team took part, playing 3 games in the morning. Eight teams qualified to the knock-out round. In the final, Joseph and Charlie took a commanding lead, 10-3, only to have JPS and Philippe rallying to tie the score at 10. Joseph and Charlie switched positions and it worked with Joseph having a long game winning shot.
